Possible Cancer Scare?

Well I posted a queestion about a brown pach found on my neck which I got answered that it could of possibly be Melanoma which is Skin Cancer, I was advised to see a Doctor but I avoided this advice and ignored it, the patch still has not gone and recently I found a lump but I did not put much thought into it seeing as its in my ear lobe, but I'm still a little concerned, views and opinions, is it anything to bother about ?
