I think I might have melanoma, help please?

I recently went to the doctors about itchy spots that appeared on my legs, arms, head and also about itchy flakey skin in my ear as if it was dry skin, but the spots would start off small with dry skin over the top but because it was itchy i scratched it without thinking and they have gotten bigger and red all round them and sometimes bleed but I seen a video about melanoma, and decided very stupidly to research it and from what i've seen it looks like, it looks similar to what mine is from a few pictures but can't get this out of my mind, the doctor did say it was a type of eczema and gave me a cream for it and it has helped my ears but i haven't really noticed any difference in the spots, I also never use sunbeds or go out sun bathing..
