Which season is the sun its strongest in Michigan?

The Sun reaches its highest point in the sky at the summer solstice, the beginning of summer. About a month either side of that date the Sun is not significantly lower thus it would be strongest in the late spring and early summer, technically strongest a few days either side of the solstice which occurs around June 21st.
