My boyfriend is dying, and my friends act like it's not a big deal?

The are just selfish ppl you should not label "friends". Im sure if they were in a situation like yours, they would want you to be all ears. Try talking to a fam member. Or confront them and tell them how they are not there for u in a serious time.
